Pierre Png joins the Tipsy Collective franchise with new restaurant, Tipsy Flamingo

It seems as though the next step for many already accomplished in their field to venture into the F&B industry, as seen from Chee Soon Juan’s Orange & Teal, Li Nanxing’s collaboration with Ippudo, and now, Pierre Png and his wife joining the line up. Some might look back on the actor and his heydays, but Pierre Png and wife Andrea De Cruz are ready to move on to their next phase—joining the Tipsy Collective by opening Tipsy Flamingo.

The Tipsy Collective is also home to other concepts like Tipsy Penguin, Tipsy Bunny, Hadouken, and now Tipsy Flamingo at Raffles City, which will be helmed by the actor and his wife. The menu will feature the likes of Lobster & Crabmeat Rolls, cocktails, and the signature Wagyu Beef Cubes that Xiaxue so fervently raves about every single time.

What separates Tipsy Flamingo from its counterparts is that the restaurant is slated to be beach-themed, bringing the sun, sea, and sand to diners despite being situated in one of the tallest buildings in Singapore. This means you can look forward to having a splash of a time with good company, just in time for the return to dining in.

The prices and opening hours of the restaurant have yet to be announced, but do look out for that in the near future when Tipsy Flamingo opens on 19 August 2021.

We absolutely enjoyed Tipsy Bunny at JEM, and left with a new-found faith in fusion food. Tipsy Penguin in Tampines also proved worthy, with their interesting take on Korean cuisine through the Crayfish BiBim Naengmyon dish.
