"My Prince Edward" wins NETPAC Award

23 Nov – The Stephy Tang-starrer, "My Prince Edward" has won the Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival's NETPAC Award ahead of the 56th Golden Horse Awards.

As reported on Mingpao, director Norris Wong, who spoke about the award, admitted that she was surprised by the news but happy and honoured to accept it from filmmaker Ang Lee.

"I am thankful to the NETPAC jury for selecting "My Prince Edward" to win this award. This is a great affirmation for me and the team, especially since I am a new director. This really encourages me to continue to make new movies in the future," she said.

On the other hand, the said movie is also nominated in three categories in the upcoming Golden Horse Awards - Best Actor, Best New Director, and Best Original Theme Song.

The upcoming event will be held on 23 November.
