Toby Leung admits divorce with Aaron Wong

5 Feb – Hong Kong actress Toby Leung recently admitted that she and husband Aaron Wong have separated eight months ago.

As reported on Oriental Daily, the couple, who were married in December 2011, revealed that they have actually filed for divorce only six months into their marriage.

Said Toby, "After we were married, Aaron and I realised that there were problems in our relationship. We tried to resolve them, but there was no way to patch things up."

The actress revealed that they then decided to separate peacefully, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason. She also added that she has already moved back home with her father and that their home in Clear Water Bay has been rented out.

"When I think about it now, I realised that we were too quick to get married. We met less than a year, he proposed and we tied the knot. We didn't know each other well enough before doing so," said Toby, who also denied the involvement of a third party in their relationship.

Toby stated that she did not request for alimony from Aaron as she has her own career and can live independently.

Meanwhile, the actress recently proved her good relationship with Aaron when they were spotted having dinner together, as well as her parents, on the fourth day of the Lunar New Year.

When asked if there is any possibility for them to be reunited, Toby replied, "I am not going to discuss the future."
