Even as Singapore’s mass transit railway operators carry out long-term renewal on its various train lines, having periodically closed some stations early over the past few months, a train delay on the North South Line occurred on Tuesday morning, to the annoyance of rush-hour commuters.

That delay resulted in commuters having to add some 30 minutes of train travel time, although many netizens posted photos of jam-packed station platforms.

Will Singapore’s transport operators be able to fully resolve these seemingly-frequent train breakdowns? If so, how long do you think it might take? Have your say in our poll and leave a comment below.
